Obama: How Dare Palin Not Mention The Fact That I’m A Senator

Of course, when Obama has referenced Palin he’s talked about her as a mayor of a small town called “Wasilly” (it’s really Wasilla) instead of recognizing the fact that she’s a Governor.

This is work I did three [sic] years ago They haven’t talked about the fact that I was a civil rights lawyer. They haven’t talked about the fact that I taught constitutional law. They haven’t talked about my work in the state legislature or the United States Senate. They’re talking about the three years of work that I did right out of college, as if I’m making the leap from 2 or 3 years out of college into the presidency.

Here’s a question for Obama: What did you accomplish during your time as a civil rights lawyer?  What did you accomplish as a state legislator?  What did you accomplish as a US Senator?

Nothing of note, as far as I can tell.  Obama has a lot of job titles, but not a lot of actual accomplishments.

I mean, it’s easy to call yourself a civil rights lawyer, but what does that mean?  And why is that more important than a city council member?
