Obama Doubles Down: Still Wouldn’t Have Supported The Surge

It was quite a gaffe for Obama to say that he wouldn't have supported The Surge if he could go back and do it all over again. True to form however, he has turned this foreign policy gaffe into his foreign policy:

I am sure Obama did not expect any kind of pushback from her, which is undoubtedly why he agreed to an interview with Couric instead of, say, Sean Hannity. But even Katie Couric seems incredulous - it is not a good sign when one of your friendly twinkies doesn't even believe you.

Here is the problem with Obama's foreign policy worldview: he doesn't seem to believe that the U.S. can ever walk and chew gum at the same time. If we are fighting in Iraq, according to Obama, it must mean we are completely ignoring Afghanistan. And to hell with the Iraqi people and their struggle to build a democracy - spending all of those billions on some domestic stimulus package would have made America safer. Obama does not explain how this would be nor can he - it is simply ludicrous.

Obama also denies that Iraq is the central front on the War on Terror. Funny, but Osama bin Laden himself said the following:

"The most important and serious issue today for the whole world is this Third World War, which the Crusader-Zionist coalition began against the Islamic nation. It is raging in the land of the two rivers. The world's millstone and pillar is in Baghdad, the capital of the caliphate."

The President, the generals, intelligence analysts and hell, even the enemy himself says Iraq is the central front in the war on terror. Not good enough! Foreign policy expert Barack Obama has spoken, and that is good enough for you, peasant.

P.S. In fact, notice how McCain has the cojones to interview with Couric. Okay okay so she is more poodle than pit bull . . . but when will Obama sit down with anyone who isn't a pre-approved leftist?

If the rookie Senator can’t handle the poodle interview without making himself look foolishly arrogant, you can’t possible expect him to hand a real pit bull.  The wonder is he made through Harvard Law without a teleprompter… or did he?

Obama was made a fool by Petraeus and the Surge; but he cannot say he was wrong, he fears admitting a huge military assesment mistake like that would be exploited ans show he was not CIC material. So, he spins and spins until I absolutely assure you, he will escape taking any responsibility for his error and 99.9%+ of the people will buy the lie.

It was like the young black boy in Vallejo a few years ago, he killed an old white woman and robbed her. When he was caught he blamed a white woman when he was younger for calling him a nigger and he was emotionally scarred and that caused him to kill the old white woman. When you are caught start lying until the lies are so many and so big no one can find the truth and you win. At least that is how the Left operates.

Why Neiman . . . are we in some kind of truce here?

If so that is fine by me.

He was taught that trick from Bush and the great WMD fiasco. Hope he doesnt look as stupid as Bush does though, that would be bad. But how could anyone else look that bad? 23% approval, how does he sleep at night?

Buy American, Buy Union Made… the job you save might be your own.

Buzzard:
You cannot document even one fact that Bush absolutely knew to be wrong and said it was true anyway or vice versa, so your charges of him lying are a fantasy on your part.

23% approval, how does he sleep at night?

A real leader does what he thinks to be right and does not worry about temporary polls. I assure you he not only sleeps well, over the next decade his approval ratings by Americans will soar into the stratosphere.

With Bat One, absolutely. I don’t think about you at all!

And yet you respond with a comment . . . hmmm.

Ken McCracken on July 22, 2008 at 08:31 pm

Well I tried, Bat.

Neiman is just hopeless.

Ken McCracken on July 22, 2008 at 08:32 pm

Why are you trying to draft Bat to your side? Insecure? I told you I have no problem with Bat whatsoever, I enjoy having peace with him and I am going to work very hard to keep it that way despite your attempts here to change that equation.

McCrackhead: You should look in the mirror young lady and you’ll see the child is you!

This was a nice, decent, adult discussion about Obama versus the Surge until you wanted to behave like an insecure brat and beg for attention from me. I am leaving you alone, I do not think about you at all, please get some psychological counselling!

I do not think about you at all

How many times are you going to say that as you reply to one of my comments in one of my blog posts?

No you jerk, this was a nice decent adult discussion and I even offered a friendly truce until you rudely bit my hand and behaved like an infant.
