Obama Continues To Slip In North Dakota Polling
A big talking point among the Obama disciples has been their messiah’s apparent appeal in “red states.” North Dakota, despite having an all-Democrat Congressional delegation, has been one of these “red states” examples. In November of last year Obama led McCain by a solid four points in the Peace Garden State. Another poll in March of this year had the same result.
Then, a few weeks ago, Rasmussen polled Obama and McCain in a dead heat at 43%. These polls prompted liberals to say that Obama could win in North Dakota, and that if he could win here he could win anywhere.
The problem? Now another poll has emerged showing Obama polling behind McCain by three points. Meaning that, since November of last year, Obama has gone from being four points ahead of McCain to three points behind him.
That’s not exactly an encouraging trend for Obama, and it also means that the messiah’s red state appeal (much like his resume) has been grossly exaggerated.
