Obama Continues To Hit New Lows In The Polls

Rasmussen has Obama’s approval index at -12, the lowest it has ever been:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 28% of the nation’s voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty percent (40%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -12. That’s the lowest rating yet recorded for President Obama.
Forty-nine percent (49%) now say that America’s best days have come and gone. Just 38% believe they are still to come. Thirty-four percent (34%) say the country is heading in the right direction. Seventy-five percent (75%) want the Federal Reserve to be audited.

It’s not just Rasmussen that shows Obama tanking. Pew has Obama’s approval numbers going down overall, and across a whole slew of issues:

The Gates issue, in particular, has been a headache for Obama which doesn’t portend good things for the left’s attempts to label all of Obama’s critics as racists:

Things are only going to get worse for Obama and the Democrats, I think. Unless some miraculous economic recovery happens that Obama can take credit for I have a feeling that his numbers are going to keep tanking. And such an economic recovery is highly unlikely given the sheer amount of deficit-driving government spending we’ve engaged in already under Obama. That deficits mean higher taxes in the future. Higher taxes mean less economic activity.
Less economic activity means we’re not going to hit the growth/revenue numbers Obama and his economic people have projected, and if we don’t hit those numbers are deficits are going to be even worse than they are right now.

The big difference between Rasmussen and the other polls is that Rasmussen only concerns themselves with likely voters.

When it comes down to election time Rasmussen is consistently proven as the best pollster.

And don’t forget that Dims in Congress are much less popular than Obama.

    YEEEE HAAWWWWWW..

That’s my sounds effects for falling off the cliff.

At the rate he’s falling, the bottom comes up fast.

It’s not the fall but landing
    That alters social standing

For a guy who describes himself as having a pretty good jumpshot, he sure is throwing up some bricks isn’t he?

    Cap and Tax – clank!
    Health Scare – clank!
Keeping his mouth shut – clank!

At this rate even a last place team would trade him or cut him.

The difference in the Rasmussen polls is that they now seem to sample more Republicans and Independants.

Given that, his popularity probably hasn’t changed all that much in recent days. We’re just now polling the people who already didn’t like him before.

Obama has a couple of opportunities coming up soon to further accelerate his fall into oblivion.

The beer bust coming up today at the White House with officer Crowley and Gates. If he makes some boneheaded mistake as he did at his news conference, he will hurt himself. Make no mistake about it, Obama is a racist, and at times the true self is not to be denied.

And I heard on the radio, this morning, that Obama’s town meeting down in Virginia last night at the Kroger was not attended by any democrat US Senators or Reps. Can’t find anything on it as of noon today.

I think people will get out in droves this summer to protest the Obama’s old age genocide plan.

This person has the possibility being irrelevant by halloween. BOOO.

“…If he makes some boneheaded mistake as he did at his news conference, he will hurt himself…”

In that case, Obummer’s staff had better make sure he is prepared. They had better make sure the teleprompter is loaded and the O does not deviate from prepared text.

Yes Sir, That’s just a natural fact. Rasmussen made the best predictions for the 2008. A lot of lefties complain about him, but a lot of lefties also complain about free sex.

I hesitate to comment. You people have so little to celebrate these days (or months or even years), the compassion in me will leave you to your fantasies.

    You are too, too kind….

I am sorry, this will be off topic. The ND farmers union news paper came today. It looks like it was written by the nat. dem. party. The leaders, Robert Carlson NDFU pres/ and Roger Johnson Nat.FU pres. have finished turning the FU into a total branch of the Dem party. They have abandonded farmers by supporting cap and trade and socialized med. Cenex has sold me my last gallon of gas. I will be letting them know why too. Maybe someone could look into this, with harvest I don’t have time. Also the REA and the RTC along with FU are the main sponsers of dumb joel on the radio. Maybe they are again sponsering big fat pot belly dog shooter schultz too. touchstone energy and the rural telecoms are the funnel that they use to hid their names.

    Farm4$,
Good for you. I wish more people would do things like this.

It’s never too early to do these things, before we become the “Congo on the Plains.”

I wished Crowley had stated that he insisted on three things before the meeting today at the White House.
    1. An apology from Obama.
    2. An apology from Gates.
    3. Michelle is muzzled and locked in her cage.

I was just kidding about the apologies.

I guess if you can’t actually win the election, hoping that the winner fails, despite the fact that it may not be good for your country and fellow citizens, is the next best thing.

Well, for eight years that is all I heard from the Dims – they all wished for GWB to fail. Now it is payback time.

Nice work, DINO. You just described progressive over the past 8.5 years.

Wow… hesitate was right. You actually made it 50 whole minutes. I’m shocked you held out that long.

I don’t want the Obamessiah to fail.. unless one considers my hopes for a miserable failure during the implementation of his Socialist policies as also falling under the umbrella of “wanting Zero to fail”.

Socialism is not “good for your country” — especially not one founded on personal liberty AND responsibility. (Ahem… PERSONAL being the operative word — as opposed to “liberty doled out by a nanny gummint”)

Don’t celebrate too soon. Just smirk.
