Obama Concedes Pennsylvania?

Obama says he’ll be close, but that Hillary will probably win the state:

BLUE BELL, Pa. - Hillary Rodham Clinton invoked Pearl Harbor, the Berlin Wall and Osama bin Laden as she reached for a victory in Pennsylvania’s Democratic presidential primary to recharge her comeback effort.

Barack Obama said she would probably win but he hoped to keep it close in Tuesday’s voting.

Someone is trying to play damage control, no?  Even though Hillary has lead in Pennsylvania for months Obama seemed poised to take the state anyway just a few short weeks ago.  Then Rev. Wright happened.  And the “bitter” comments were made, and now Hillary is probably going to take Pennsylvania in a landslide.

Rabid Obama supporters have been busy trying to downplay the hurt Obama has felt from the “bitter” comments, etc.  But I think it’s clear that Obama’s gaffes and controversy cost him Pennsylvania, and while that not be enough to put Hillary over the edge for the Democrat nomination it’s worth remembering that the nomination isn’t the ultimate goal.  Obama must yet win a general election contest, and I doubt he can do it while carrying the weight of William Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, Tony Rezko and his smug contempt for non-liberal Americans.

Especially not when campaigning against a moderate, bona fide war hero.
