    It’s what he was taught at his madrasas as a boy…always bow to elders in authority. It’s reflexive and reveals his Muslim childhood. Of course if the elder is an old white lady like the Queen of England, you just hug her like your grannie and give her an Ipod loaded with your best speeches.
