So what is your context supposed to be?  Obama still spent years listening to and brought his children to the church of a man who agrees with hateful ideas.  It doesn’t matter where Wright got the ideas, he preached them from the pulpit.

The common leftist talking point is to quote the sentence where he said we should be out of Saudi Arabia, and to ignore everything else he has ever said. That he believes we are the worst society on the planet, full of sin and corruption. That he called us to embrace Islam or be destroyed. And that he hates everything we stand for.

While it is true that he wanted us out of Saudi Arabia...that is not the only reason he hates us. Our continued support of Israel, our “decadent and immoral” culture, and basically us standing opposed to him.

Speaking at the Washington, D.C., school’s Andrew Rankin Memorial Chapel, Jeremiah Wright said, “We started the AIDS virus. … We are only able to maintain our level of living by making sure that Third World people live in grinding poverty.”
