Obama: America Has Never Been A Collection Of Individuals

I’m listening to Obama’s acceptance speech, and in the opening line I heard him say that America has never been a nation of individuals.

My jaw dropped.

I know Obama’s a collectivist.  I know he was mentored by socialists.  But to say that this nation has never been a nation of individuals is just plain ridiculous.

We are a nation of individuals.  We’ve always been a nation of individuals.  It is Barack Obama that wants to promote the collective to greater importance than the individual.  And unfortunately for us, as we’re going to learn in the next four years, the collective for Obama is the government.

Keep that opening line from this new age of Obama in mind folks.  Obama doesn’t see you as an individual.  He sees you as a cog in a machine.  Just another faceless member of the masses.

No surprise there; shysters view individuals as the enemy!

Each according to their needs, each according to their abilities. I think this collectivist it was part of the Marxist agenda.

Hey, Obama said he heard our voices as well in this election and he will be our President too.

Let me just say I am an American and Obama is my President.  I will hold him to his words.

America is a nation of individuals, the state is the property of the people, not the other way around.

As an American I have to accept Obama is our new soon to be POTUS. As an individual I am having a difficult time accepting the fact that our Country has elected a Socialist, who given the chance Promised Planned Parenthood that he would sign the Freedom Of Choice Act. An Act that will Force All Taxpayers to PAY for Abortions to anyone desiring one! This was what he described as his first thing he would do after being sworn in.  IF he truly wants all our help and truly wants to earn our respect as my President, he will not sign something that will violate many of our core beliefs! Isn’t it enough that abortion is legal?

I do find that disconcerting, also. I think I was more shocked when he had the “audacity” to say that he wouldn’t be able to get most things done in his first year or even in his FIRST term! I mean, wow! I don’t think there’s ever been anyone who has been the president-elect for an hour or so,giving their acceptance speech and campaigning for their 2nd term all at the same time!!!

Not only selected a socialist, last night at the White House gates, the obama throng was displaying the hammer & sickle flag.

Another thing that gives me some insight into the thought process of obama was his statement about his kids getting a dog when they move into the White House.
It gives me pause to think .
Why couldn’t his kids have a dog at their own house?
Why should they have had to wait till they moved into someone elses’ property to add a dog to the family?
While some might think little of this observation, I feel that it speaks volumns about him as a father and as a man.

As much as I want to agree with you, it seems as though he’s saying that we aren’t just a bunch of people, but we’re a united country. He said: “Americans who sent a message to the world that we have never been just a collection of individuals or a collection of red states and blue states. We are, and always will be, the United States of America.”

Of course, I wouldn’t be surprised if he meant we weren’t individuals either.
