Obama Aid Calls Hillary A “Monster”

My reaction?
It’s no better or worse than that Rush Limbaugh caller saying Obama looks like Curious George.
Other than the fact that the Clinton political machine needs fodder, I really don’t see what the big deal is. So Obama’s adviser thinks Hillary is monstrous. Thinking of Hillary’s designs for socialized medicine, which would garnish our wages if we don’t buy health insurance and might even for us by law to go to the doctor, I think she probably is pretty monstrous.
But what do I know? I’m just a right-wing observer looking in on this race from the outside.
Update: Samantha Powers, the Obama aid responsible for the “monster” comment, has resigned.

    You meant that when someone uses race as a distinguishing feature that signifies different treatment is racist. Perhaps something like this?

    Clarification for my friends on the right who need it: what I am suggesting is that Rob is not a racist but one who is merely pointing out what others feel is racist. If only 2 had the intelligence and intellectual honesty to afford his opponents the same consideration and courtesy.

    Don’t worry 2 I am not holding my breath.

    I think the bigger story is that the person tried to go “off the record” in the middle of the interview. The fact that name calling has started however may stir up emotions and any attempt at adult conversation will be difficult.
