Obama Administration Announces That They Can Now, Officially, Be Held Responsible For The Economy
No more blaming Bush. The economy is Obama’s baby now.
I actually thought Obama could probably get away with squeezing explanations and deflections for another two or three months worth of bad economic news out of blaming Bush before even the most sycophantic of reporters and talking heads began to get glassy-eyed, but I guess Obama decided that enough was enough now.
Though given that the economy’s poor performance has outstripped even his adminisation’s own projections, I really think it’s been his baby all along.
