Obama Accuses McCain Of Stealing His Ideas

This is why McCain isn’t winning.  On a lot of issues he’s Obama Lite.

After Tuesday’s debate, the Obama campaign e-mailed a statement accusing Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) of stealing the idea for his homeowner bailout from Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.)

The statement, “John McCain Lies Tonight,” began: “McCain today said he had a new plan to allow the Treasury to purchase and restructure mortgages. The truth is that this is not a new proposal and is already part of the rescue plan that was signed into law. It was Obama, not McCain who called for this move two weeks ago.”

McCain would be doing a lot better if he’d quit trying to out-Democrat Obama on issues like the bailout and started acting like a conservative.

He’s losing a lot of us with that nonsense.

The idea that my tax money should be used to reward someone that took out a horrible mortgage they couldn’t afford by giving away conventional fixed rate mortgages that other people worked hard to EARN with good credit makes me want to puke.

I don’t really care if you package it as socialism, I’m not concerned about this because it’s “socialism”.  It pisses me off because it’s bullshit.  My taxes are already wasted by the government, but such a blatant handout to people that don’t deserve it makes my blood boil.

Accuses? Sounds like you agree with Obamer.
