Obama Not Knowing About Petraeus Affair Is Worse Than His Knowing
The Obama administration is denying any pre-election knowledge of the investigation into CIA Director David Petraeus’ extra-martial affair:
The obvious angle here from the Obama administration is to deny pre-election knowledge about the affair in order to distance themselves from the appearance that the scandal is being used to distract from the Benghazi scandal.
But the fact that an on-going investigation into the man the Obama administration picked to head the CIA, which includes questions about the possibility of his having inappropriately disseminated classified information, went on for months without Obama knowing is not only hard to believe it would be evidence of an astounding level of incompetence on the part of President Obama.
I’d rather believe that the Obama administration is lying to us (which is what I suspect) than believe they had no idea this was going on.
