Obama Debt Commission Member: Ryan Budget Is Honest, Straight Forward And Sincere
As Democrats attack Rep. Paul Ryan, Romney’s pick for Vice President, as some sort of an extremist here’s video of former Democrat Senator (and member President Barack Obama’s National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform) Erskine Bowels calling Ryan “amazing” among other adjectives.
I’ve written before that Paul Ryan being on the national ballot will be an interesting litmus test for where the American public is at on fiscal matters. Are we finally willing to concede that the “extremists” are the spendthrifts and crooks who have created $1 trillion annual budget deficits, or are we still going to brand as extremists those who talk about reforming the entitlement programs and other sorts of programs that are the primary drivers of that problem?
