Obama Administration: The White House Doesn’t Create Jobs

Written By:

“The White House doesn’t create jobs,” spokesman Jay Carney told reporters today. “The government, together — White House, Congress — creates policies that allow for greater job creation.”

So then what was all that “jobs created or saved” stuff about?

“Jay Carney helpfully provides GOP with new campaign slogan,” writes Allah at Hot Air. He’s right, and Republicans have already been using it. The White Hosue doesn’t create jobs.

But something tells me that if the economy happened to be performing better, Carney wouldn’t be so gun shy about crediting the white house.
