News: Arctic Ice At Record Lows, Not News: Antarctic Ice At Historic High

The low level of arctic ice, of course, has all the global warming zealots really concerned. But what’s funny is that it has also just been announced that Antartica has ice extent at a level not seen since 1979.
What’s really funny, however, is that the Associated Press and the rest of the media are only picking up on one of these stories.
Gee, I wonder why that is?

    That is a good idea! All industries not doing their part to stave off the coming Ice Age can be heavily fined and the money used to buy more charcoal for cooking extra tasty pork and beef. Mmmmmmm! Meatalicious!

    Well, something that the GW hysteriacs seem to forget is that the Northern Hemisphere is wrapping up its summer, and the Southern Hemisphere is moving toward spring.

    But summer weather conditions can’t have anything to do with melting ice…can they?

    Well see it’s not global warming, it’s global climate change. The Arctic loses ice – that’s a change! The Antarctic gains ice – that’s a change! Why, I’ve seen it here in my own city. Just 5 months ago it was cold and wet, now it’s hot and dry! Climate change!

    Don’t worry, Al Gore will save us.

    An increase in Antarctic ice would be great for climate change business since it provide decades of more big icebergs breaking off at the coast for great visuals for the news. In the meantime would someone tell those freakin’ polar bears to stop reproducing? Their increasing populations are really embarrassing to certain people.
