North Dakota’s Own Ed Schafer Impressing The Heck Out Of People In Washington

This is a glowing, if rather brief, analysis of Ed Schafer’s career from US News & World Report.

I’m happy to see one of North Dakota’s own go to Washington and find success.  And, unlike Senators Byron Dorgan and Kent Conrad who don’t even live in North Dakota any more in any meaningful sense, I have little doubt that once Schafer’s time as Ag. Secretary is through he’ll return to his home state once again.

and Ed, over the course of his life has lived in ND more and has accomplished more for ND and North Dakotans?  I wonder what he was doing when he lived those years down in the Yucatan??

Boy, it doesn’t take long for the envious losers to rear their heads. Hey, Brad, you’re expressing the same attitude that helped elect Gov. Spaeth back in 1992. Keep it up.

So why can’t we run him against one of the three morons of Team Dakota and defeat him?

Hey, I like the guy....there was a time we were on a first name basis...I just thought Robs post was somewhat shallow…

Ed has done lots right in his life, starting with being born into the right family…

and that fish farm was probably his second accomplishment.

Brads is shallow about this post?

A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers.

Ed’s on a first-name basis with everyone.

Hey, where is Governor Spaeth these days? Anamoose? Park River?
