North Dakota Democrats Break The Rules

Doh.
What’s funny is the response from party director Jim Fugilie. He says the funds were returned to avoid the appearance of impropriety, yet the funds were pretty clearly used in violation of state law.
I find it hard to believe this was just some oversight. Of course, I don’t quite understand why corporate donations can’t be used for convention expenses, but the rules are the rules.
