North Dakota Medical Association To Consider Anti-Obamacare Resolution
During the debate over Obamacare, state Democrats were quick to list the North Dakota Medical Association as a backer of the legislation. But now that the bill is law, and that we know even more about it now than we did then, the NDMA will be considering a resolution proposed by one of its members, Dr. Rick Becker, to repudiate Obamacare.
The entire resolution as proposed is below.
How likely is the NDMA to pass this resolution? Who knows. I never thought that the North Dakota Farm Bureau would have passed a resolution disapproving of farm subsidies, but they did, so stranger things have happened.
But the politicians, up to and including our all-Democrat federal delegation, have been working hard to lard up medical interests in the state with lots and lots of pork so the incentive not to push back against Obamacare, however bad it may be for patients and the medical industry in the long run, is pretty big.
