No Radio Show Tonight, I’ll Be Hosting “Republican Shootout” On The Scott Hennen Show Tomorrow

My radio show won’t be airing tonight. It’s Superbowl Sunday, for crying out loud, and even I’d rather be watching the game.
I’ll also be braving winter weather and traveling to Fargo so that I can host a “Republican shootout” among the Republican House candidates on the Scott Hennen Show tomorrow morning from 8am – 11am.
I’ll have all the candidates in the studio for a debate, and your questions or calls are certainly welcome. You can leave your questions in the comments below, or email them to me at rob@sayanythingblog.com.
On a related note, on Tuesday I’ll be in Bismarck to address the NDGOP’s Chairman’s Lunch. I don’t have all the details on that event just yet, but I’ll post them on the blog once I know.

Well I have no friends so that’s a pretty outrageous point of view.

    ;-)

Here is the question that needs to be asked of both of them:

Will you vote against every budget that isn’t balanced – even if it’s a Republican budget?

The idea that we’ll move towards a balanced budget over 5 years is as unrealistic as balancing it in one year. If Berg and Cramer hate deficits like they are claiming they do, then they’ll vote against any spending bills that increase the deficit and debt.

At this point, I bet a balanced budget would still be a bigger budget than most of Bush’s.

There’s only one way to balance the budget… and it’s to vote AGAINST any budgets that aren’t balanced.

  • sayanything-43

And then ask berg why he voted for everyone else’s budget increases.

And then he voted for some budget increases he didn’t even know.

  • brenarlo

Then ask Berg why he voted for Cramer’s budget increase.

  • DuWayne Hendrickson

It cannot be a Republican shootout if you do not have all the candidates present. All announced candidates should be invited, no matter when they declared their candidacy…

  • lawrence

How about asking Cramer why he requested such a huge budget increase for the PSC? and increased FTE’s? Is he a big spender? it would appear so….

And maybe he could say unequivocally that he will/will not run for the PSC win or lose in the U.S. House race. Open the door for some new GOP blood.

I think that’s an unreasonable expectation. We’re not going to have a
balanced budget that’s feasible in 2011.

We need for our candidates to be serious about moving us towards a balanced
budget over the next five years.

How we hold them to that I don’t know?

What the hell. trying to watch the superbowl pre game on CBS and the lying cu#t katy couric come on with the idiot in chief. Can this network sink any further? I went to ESPN till it was over…give me a break.

“I think that’s an unreasonable expectation. We’re not going to have a
balanced budget that’s feasible in 2011.”

Oh, c’mon, Whistler. If they passed the 2005 budget, they’d run a surplus this year. And the 2005 budget was absurd with its reckless expenditures.

  • lawrence

Why don’t you just ask all the questions that Cramer’s best friend the Whistler wants you to ask.

  • brenarlo

And then ask them both if they promise to vote against any budget that isn’t balanced.

    You sound bitter.
