After closing out his campaign trail tour with an address to an events center with a lot of empty seats, President Obama will spend the rest of the election year behind closed doors.

No last-minute campaigning for the President.

After a weekend of campaigning in four states President Obama will spend Election eve behind-closed-doors at the White House today.

In the morning, the President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing and meet with senior advisors in the Oval Office, his regular daily briefings.

Mr. Obama will spend the rest of the day in private meetings at the White House.

Anyone else thinking that the President may have helped his Democrats more by staying out of the public eye all year? And what does it say that Obama has closed up shop on election eve while Bill Clinton continues to hit the campaign trail hard?
