Well, it’s nice to see the liberal media finally ditch the feigned objectivity and just admit membership in the Church of Obama.

I think the way they fawn over him is pathetic. It seems like everything he does is historic seems that when Chairman OBAMA quadrupled the national debt there was nary a word about this except by conservatives. Of course these people were called racist and disillusioned or right wing fringe groups because they dared not fawn and bow at the knees of NOBAMA. None the less the media is in bed with this light weight and don’t expect anything but fawning.

What you are speaking of is not antichrist but the Beast whom the scriptures say will rise up out of the sea.

There is a lot of speculation as to whom that chapter might be referring… but the Beast and Antichrist are not the same thing.

The Bible tells us that many people would rise up throughout human history and be viewed as gods, as Saviors, as Christ’s! Many of these great leaders have consciously believed they were indeed divine beings, most unconsciously, because they were worshipped, accepted their divine anointing or status as living gods; but when I consider many things that Obama has said, his almost global worship, his many policies and his raging megalomania, he is increasingly appearing to perfectly fit the role of the long awaited anti-Christ.

Is he that evil being? I cannot say for sure and historically, eschatologists have insisted that Man of Sin would arise out of the new, Revived Roman Empire. Yet, it is undeniable that Lord Obama seems to almost perfectly fit the Scriptural definition, only time will tell.

When the media and people like Evan Thomas are blind to all of Lord Obama’s faults, when his follers seem more like cult worshippers and considering how the whole world seems to embrace him, I must say that setting aside biblical prophecy for a moment, such idolatrous worship cannot be good for Amerioca or the world; and if he indeed is that Man of Sin, then he will, possibly before his second term ends, bring about Armageddon!

Strictly speaking by religious definition we engage in idolatry every time we put anything else ahead of G-d. The sin is when we know we’re doing it to any real conscious degree and we don’t oppose it in ourselves.

I’d say the media is doing just that but without any real religious grounding, without a proper consistent framework to arrange faith their religion becomes somewhat formless and generalized and they can no longer find a way out without reaching a point of adoption of a framework. At that point, liberalism as we know it becomes impossible to hold to.

Though, it does point up what I said about the stand alone complex. Mass sociocultural phenomena are more at work than purposefully chosen ideas. That’s dangerous.
