New York Times Calls It For The Dems

Wonderful.

Why even have an election? The Times knows who is going to win, and they’ve never been wrong before.
Meanwhile, in a dimension that is apparently running parallel to the one Times reporters are living in, the polls are tightening for Republicans. A just-released Pew poll shows the Democrat advantage falling from 11 points to 4 points. A Washington Post poll from earlier today showed the Democrat advantage going from 14 points to 6.
I’m told there’s a Gallup poll due out later tonight that could well show the tide swinging in favor of the Republicans as well.
I’m going to keep saying it: The reports about a Democrat “wave” re-taking Congress have been greatly exaggerated. I’ll be surprised if Democrats re-take either house of Congress.
Update: The Gallup poll is out, and it continues the trend set by the Washington Post and Pew polls released earlier today, showing a 7 point swing for Republicans since October 22nd and a 16 point swing for Republicans since October 8th. Previously Democrats led in this poll by 23 points on October 8th, now they lead by 7.

    Goon,

I agree. After all, Howard Dean has been saying the same sort of stupid stuff since he was named chairman of the DNC nearly six years ago. What’s one more stupid voice, anyway?

I think the dems should let Kerry go out there and say some more stupid stuff. Notice he had been sent home to say nothing. Notice how Nancy Pelosi is no where to be found. They know no one in the heart land likes her or shares her values. It seems even Howard the Blow Hard has been some what quiet lately.

Yep they are measuring for the new drapes in their offices. Of course the election hasn’t been held yet and already I can see where this is leading, if the GOP gets a good bounce and wins the election this election will be tied up in the courts until Feb. You know the dems won’t take it laying down.

Funny thing is I was watching the news the other night and apparently a lot of voter rolls are full of people’s names that are deacesed. Funny thing I didn’t know the Dead could still vote from the grave. One guy had been dead for like 30 years. Seems that ACORN has been doing some get out the vote from the various cemetaries around the country.

I wouldn’t be SURPRISED if they take the House, but I certainly wouldn’t be surpised if they DIDN’T take it… I think the election is far from as over as the MSM thinks it is.

I WOULD be surprised if they took the Senate. My instict tells me the GOP will end up around 52. Here’s hoping…

Rob…Just keep that good news coming our way! AND keep those dead Dems out of the voting areas.

Tradesports.com has the Senate in Rep control but is 4:1 against Reps holding the House.

Not being contradictory, per say – but that’s where the cash is saying we’re headed.

I really hope you are correct!…

The Gallup poll is out, and I just updated the post.

It shows yet another reduction in Dem leads, this time by 7 points. 16 points since early October.
