NDGOP Files FEC Complaint Against Democrat PSC Candidate
1:25pm
Earlier today, in a post about Democrat Public Service Commission candidate Brad Crabtree, I mentioned that he’s “spent more of his time acting as a surrogate for Democrat House candidate Pam Gulleson in attacks against Republican House candidate Kevin Cramer than running for the PSC.”
It appears as though that’s about to be an issue for the liberal. The NDGOP has sent a letter to the FEC filing an official complaint against Crabtree for campaigning against a federal candidate.
The letter, signed by NDGOP Treasurer Robert Harms, is below.
Ads that attack or support a federal candidate are required to file certain documents with the FEC. Crabtree’s mistake, it appears, is in attacking a federal candidate without filing the proper FEC paperwork.
Which is about part for the course with Crabtree’s bizarre campaign which, as I’ve already mentioned, still seems to be centered on Cramer rather than his actual opponent state Senator Randy Christmann.
