ND Peace Kooks Post Video Of Their Kookiness Online

The folks at NDPeople.org, one of the many front names used by a single group of left wingers here in North Dakota to make themselves appear to be more numerous than they really are, have put up a video of the hearing for the ND Peace Coaltion’s (again, same group of people) anti-war resolution which they’re trying to get passed in the state legislature.

It’s pretty entertaining to watch.  My favorite part is when the video says “over ten people” testified in favor of the resolution.

Over ten!  Like, wow man!

As I’ve said before, this is just plain stupid, and it’s not just because I am a staunch supporter of the President’s middle eastern policy.  This is stupid because, as I’ve already said, it’s a waste of time.

North Dakota’s legislature has absolutely no power America’s foreign policy.  North Dakotan’s do not elect state legislators to concern themselves about foreign policy.  We elect Presidents to do that, as well as - to a lesser extent - federal Representatives and Senators.  If North Dakotans want to make their feelings about the war in Iraq known they can communicate their wishes - through votes, emails, phone calls, etc. - to the people they elected who actually have some power over the issue.

But like typical big-government liberals who let the power of their elected offices go to their heads to the point where they think they must have their fingers in everything, Mathern and his fellow Dems are going to try and push this resolution through anyway.  Again wasting the legislative time, and thousands of tax dollars, of North Dakota citizens who - for the most part - voted for President Bush and his foreign policy.  Twice.

Outright smear tactics.  This site would be wise to refrain from such baiting and using outright lies about what it means to be Republican.  Whatever you are, you are not anything near what you claim to be.  You are definitely a right wing propaganda mouthpiece.

Senator William Langer R- North Dakota was one of only two senators in the US Senate to oppose the United States from entering into the United Nations.  He was roundly criticized and accused of grandstanding to gain attention to his name.  He was just telling it like it was.

“All it will do is create perpetual war,” he said.

William Langer had the interests of the people of North Dakota at heart.  He was also affiliated with the Non-Partisan League, a party of Socialist sympathizers, but didn’t belong to the Socialist Party.

Ten thousand people attended his funeral in Bismarck.

The US Senate was not going to seat him.

In 1944, Senator William Langer (R-ND) asserted that small groups of “millionaire monopolists, international bankers, or crooks” were selecting the presidential nominees of both the Democratic and Republican parties.  In 1951, Congressman Usher Burdick (R-ND) said, “Both old parties want war and profits and the plain people like you and me have no means of bringing our vote to account.  We will have to support one or the other of the great party candidates and when both are against us you can see how powerless we are
.” Throughout the twentieth century, statism and imperialism were two other guiding principles of the U.S. government under both Democrats and Republicans.  Today, regardless of party affiliation or ideological label, virtually all leading politicians favor “central government control over diverse states, provinces, or regions” and favor “a permanent policy of massive global intervention by the United States.”

Ronald Walter - people here don’t appreciate your outright smear tactics and propaganda.

You have hacked my link.

Or, more plausibly, you just don’t know how to use HTML code.

No, I check them right after I post them.  It worked at the beginning.  I checked later, and it was gone.

You have to be given credit for redacting, though.

Apparently, the little club here feels the same.

Nobody changed your comment, Ronald.  You aren’t the only lefty who comments here.  You can talk any lefty you want who has ever commented here.  We have never changed a link.

You’re making things up.

Does the ND Peace Coaltion subscribe to Osama’s and his fellow dirt bags’ idea of “peace?”

When I type the words Socialist, Socialist Party, and right wing, a hyperlink is present.  I did not hyperlink those words.

This web site is hacked.

The empty suits here have nothing better to do except poke fun at those who provide different points of view.

You can’t be civil, nor do you have any intention of being civil.  You dare call yourselves ‘Republican’ and even American.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

sayanythingblog.com is not interested in freedom of speech.  It is not interested in free and open discourse.

The reality is, it has nothing to offer.

Actually, that’s just advertising.  This site uses inline link advertising like a lot of other websites do.  The ad links have a line under them.  Regular links do not.

This website is not hacked, you just don’t have a clue.

Ronald, you haven’t exactly been polite since coming here.  And yes, people get mean in online debates.  That’s just the nature of the internet, unfortunately.

sayanythingblog.com is not interested in freedom of speech.  It is not interested in free and open discourse.

You’ve certainly had your chance to say whatever you want.  And you can even log in and start your own reader blog (like a lot of the other lefty commenters here have already done) too and can say whatever you want there.  I won’t guarantee that people won’t criticize what you say and maybe even get nasty in their responses, but you can say what you want.

The reality is, it has nothing to offer.

Several thousand other daily readers would disagree.

Hey, it is no trouble at all being one hard-headed sob.  It is no problem at all.  I have been extremely well mannered, believe me.

If you think I haven’t been ‘exactly polite,’ you have no idea what I can do to the most thick-skinned internet junkie.  You don’t want to find out the hard way.  It won’t be pretty.  I can hit hard.

I just have had it with that type of internet barbarism.

You folks are honest as long as it pays.

Hmmm,

Perhaps someone ought to explain to beanhead that hyperlinks are added to certain keywords, automatically.

Second, the Mods on this push take part in the dialog but also allow a LOT of discussion.  Leftists are pretty much given free reign to be, well, Leftists.

Just about the only deleting I have heard about is when some Malefactor started posting porn.

On the other hand, I’ve been on two other fora where Leftists controlled the discussion, and I do mean controlled.  Anytime it looked like Americans (as opposed to Socialists) were gaining an advantage, deletions and banning ensued.

Here, we’ll just point out their more bone-headed blabbing, or even laugh at them, but doubt that anyone is being hacked.

They have a lot more freedom here than on Leftist- controlled threads.

I don’t know what that’s supposed to mean, but I can assure you that while the debates around here do tend to get a little nasty nobody has ever had their post or comment modified be me or the other moderators I’ve designated.

That’s funny, I’ve been accused of being a right wing fascist.  Left wing propaganda, right wing propaganda.  I’ve had it with all of it.

I will not link right wing sites.  They are, in fact, the worst.

German prisoners of war were happy to help harvest in the Midwest when they were here in the US.  They knew that they were taking jobs from the Industrial Workers of the World, a communist union.  Otherwise known as I Won’t Work.

A farmer from my neck of the woods hired some for harvest help.  It rained for two weeks and the harvest was put on hold.  After the rain stopped and the harvest could begin, the IWW workers left.

Do you like vacations?  Do you like forty hour work weeks?  Do you like weekends off?  Those are all liberal ideas.

Times were tough in the early fifties.  My Dad worked six days a week for sixty cents an hour.  We drove the car on Saturdays and to church on Sundays.

I do suggest you visit a church of your choice.  It might help your attitudes.

Thou shalt not bear false witness.

Do you like weekends off?  Those are all liberal ideas.

Well, half a weekend maybe...I thought the Sabbath day pre-dated modern Liberalism by several thousand years!
God is a Liberal...who knew?

Ronald Walter,

The Republicans you speak of during that time were anti-war, and the Democrats of their time were the war mongerers.

Every time Democrats bring this up they should ask themselves why they support the party of FDR that cut off Japan’s oil in order to hasten a war with the Axis Powers, and the party of LBJ that escalated what became Vietnam.

Ronald Walter spews, Josef Stalin was all in favor of freedom of speech as long as it coincided with his views.

Apparently, the little club here feels the same.

Dude, you’re an idiot. Your HTML started off with that little arrow and then “a href-”.  There’s your mistake. Instead of properly putting in the equal sign after the href, you put in a dash.

Go ahead an apologize any time.

sayanythingblog.com is not interested in freedom of speech.  It is not interested in free and open discourse.

The reality is, it has nothing to offer.

Then what the hell are you doing here? There’s something wrong with someone who sticks around at a site that “has nothing to offer”. Really, why are you even here?

I have been extremely well mannered, believe me.

North Dakota’s legislature has absolutely no power America’s foreign policy.

Don’t kid yourself. All kinds of things that people have no ability to make laws about are voted on. It gets in the paper. People talk. The more powerful people hear it or realize their constituents have a certain view. Its politics.
