National Police Week

This week is National Police Week.
I come from a law enforcement family (my father was an Alaska State Trooper for 19 years) and know the kind hardships these brave people face every day in the line of duty.
If you encounter an officer today (lets hope its in a good way) maybe take the time to thank them for the job that they do. Nobody really likes dealing with an officer, but their job is a tough one. Most officers are nice people, so let them know that they’re doing a good job.
I’m sure they’d appreciate it.
