Multiculturalists Labeling Switzerland As Europe’s “Heart Of Darkness” For Trying To Protect Itself

One of the first things that annoys me about this is the attempt at drawing a parallel with the Joseph Conrad novel of the same name. It doesn’t work, but it sounds dark and grim enough so the reporter who wrote the article – or his editor – slapped it up there as the title. Attention getting with just the right amount of hysteria attached, yes. In anyway germain to the issue and what’s really happening, no. I doubt if the learned author – or his editor – of the left wing hit piece ever read the book.
I like it when hot button labels like “xenophobic”, “racist”, and “a worrying new extremism” are slapped on issues in the first few paragraphs of a story. It generally means that the author doesn’t have any real argument against whatever it is he or she is reporting on so the old tried and true tactic of social hysteria is applied.
In this case the hysteria is being directed at Switzerland. Why? Because Switzerland has had the audacity to try to pass laws that will protect it from the overwhelming tide of illegal immigrants that threaten the sovereignity of the fiercely independant nation.
One of the laws that has the left in such a dither is this one: The largest political party is Switzerland is trying to get enough signatures on a petition to, now get this, “deport foreigners who commit serious crimes after they finish their jail sentence”. The second part of the proposed law really has the left in a tizzy: The family of the perpetrator can be deported as soon as the sentence is passed.
Okay, I admit that the second part is a bit extreme but we have to ask the question: Why are they doing this? Is is because they’re just knuckle dragging racists and hate anyone who isn’t Swiss, or is it because the Swiss are getting fed up with foreigners who come there and trash their country, their culture, and their laws? And, of course, the ethnicity of those “immigrants” is an issue. They ain’t Canadians. They’re mostly Muslim immigrants who arrogantly and belligerently assume that the world is their oyster and that they can do as they damn well please. And if you try to stop them, then you’re a racist. Or a bigot. Or xenophobic. Whatever.
It’s a European epidemic. Muslim immigrants are coming to the Western nations of Europe in waves. And they aren’t assimilating. Instead, they’re trying to take over, to convert Europe into a Muslim caliphate. An obvious question would be – if things are so great in the enlightened land of Islam, why’d they leave it in the first place? But nobody seems to want to ask questions like that and Europe is now finding itself caught between a culture who’s stated goal is to destroy them and the shrieking muticulturalists who want to let them.
The author of this piece in The Independant, a publication out of the UK, is a fine example of this. He doesn’t come close to recognizing the fact that, far from being Europe’s “Heart of Darkness”, Switzerland could well be a light in the veil of Islamic night that is not so slowly descending over Europe.
Let’s hope the other European nations take note before it’s too late for them.
