MSNBC: Obama Could Be Supreme Court Justice If He Weren’t Already President

And so the Obama cheerleaders at MSNBC continue their descent into self-parody:

And some fun speculation: Had Clinton been president and Obama been in the Senate, would he be the favorite to fill the first SCOTUS opening? How about Clinton? Had she not been tapped for Secretary of State, would she be our focus right now? Who will be the first columnist to write: Could Barack Obama’s post-presidential career be on the Supreme Court?

Did you know that Obama is a constitutional scholar? He taught classes about the constitution when he wasn’t busy organizing communities. Oh, and he’s got a gift too.
And if the Cavaliers ever need a new forward should LeBron James leave. Well, I hear Obama’s a pretty good basketball player too.

    His post-presidential career ? Considering the 0% chance that any Democrat is in that seat post-Obama, his liklihood of being nominated to the SC – the idiocy of that idea notwithstanding – would be LESS than 0. Nevermind the fact that, ignoring the fanboy stupidity of hack networks like MSNBC, the likely opinion of Obama after 4 years of abject failure will not be high enough to get him appointed to his local zoning board of appeals.

    For a nation that is supposed to reduce discrimination, the media has announced the the two most important qualifications for the nominee should be a female, and hispanic. Apparently since we have a POTUS with no experience, SC Justices shouldn’t be expected to have any either.

    At the rate he’s going, he’s not likely to make it to a second term.

    He mostly ran against a vacuum last time (part as I’ve noted was located in John McCain’s skull), and it was still pretty close.

    Not sure that translates well into running against a real political opponent.

    Obama would not be on anyone’s list. Not a short list, not a medium list, not a long list. Not any list. He was junior junior senator barely competent to peel potatoes for dinner while his wife natters on about the day’s doings and how the kids need new shoes and the usual middle class nonsense of life. He’d never been a judge in his life.
