Do you know when the conervative myth of the liberal media was born? During the civil rights era. The press at that time, and indeed as we now know, all normal people, looked at the racists and segregationists as wrong-headed.
The segregationists didn't feel they were getting fair treatment from the press, that their ideas that blacks should be held back and of keeping the races separate were not being given the respect that they deserved. So they branded the press "liberal".
Do you people here that call yourselves conservatives still believe in segregation? DO you believe blacks should be treated as second class? Now, do you see how your ideas are defeated because they're not only wrong but BAD? Do you think we'd be better off if the press reported fondly on the racists and promoted their views?

Read the posts. The thread was started as some victimhood whining about the press not devoting 24/7 coverage to this new scandal that you people think will stop Obama from governing like some 2009 version fo Whitewater.

The point of this post is MSNBC has different priorities than real news organizations. Your point of commenting is that you feeeel you have been victimized since childhood and you need to be against the conservative party anyway you can. You feeeel you need to protect the party you call home. Real news providers report the news in a way that is non-partisan when the news has blatant obvious gross wrong-doings being done in our government. You may not remember the Watergate scandal, but our Republican President R.M. Nixon was brought down by investigative reporting and good work done by law enforcement, just as he should have.
Why do left leaning news organizations want to sweep these wrong-doings under the carpet?
Why are lies made up by lefties when they are backed into a corner or when they feeeel threatened? Lefties think nothing of character assassination when they feeeel threatened by someone on the right.
