More Voter Registration Shenanigans: Indianapolis Has 105% Of Its Population Registered To Vote

Does ACORN have an office in Indianapolis?  You know they do.

According to STATSIndiana, In 2007, Indianapolis/Marion County had an estimated population of 876,804. Of that number 232,607 were below 18 years of age, for a total of 644,197 people in Marion County/Indianapolis 18 or over and thus eligible to vote. (Indiana allows felons to vote as long as they are not incarcerated).

So we have 644,197 people eligible to be registered in Marion County/Indianapolis, and 677,401 people registered. Congratulations go to Indianapolis for having 105% of its residents registered!

Across the nation voter registration irregularities are coming to light.  Many of these irregularities involving the former employer, ACORN, of one of our Presidential candidates, Barack Obama.  Now it comes to light that Obama’s campaign has paid ACORN over $800,000 for “get out the vote” efforts so far this campaign season.

At some point, someone is going to have to look into this stuff.

Hmmm? That is interesting! Wow!

If Obama is as far ahead as the media and his supporters claim, then none of this should be necessary.

The fact that all this voter fraud is going on, and it’s all related to supporters of Obama tells us that Obama’s supporters don’t think he can win fair and square.

It is not necessarily the medias job to do the investigating. Although they should be reporting it. The FBI and other agencies should take the reins and prosecute these individuals ASAP! When voter fraud is running amok like this what are the rules? Or are there any rules that prevent agencies such as ACORN to halt their practices? Election day are we going to need to provide more ID than usual?

If you will recall, those 8 US Attorneys fired by Mr. Bush that got the Democrats’ bikinis in such a bunch were let go principally because they refused to investigate and prosecute cases of voter fraud!

This isn’t just a problem with the Obama campaign.  This sort of fraud is SOP among Democrats nationwide.

Every year the left lies through their teeth about Republicans suppressing the black vote.

Vote fraud is exactly the same thing as suppressing someones vote.  When someone votes fraudulently it cancels out someone’s vote.

It’s a serious thing and shame on the Bush administration for not being serious about prosecuting it and making headlines.

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.

Whistler,

When realize that voter fraud is all but endemic to the Democrat party, and has been an integral part of how the Democrats operate, its easy to see why Congressional Democrats took the replacing of the USE Attorneys as such a serious threat, and went after the Bush Justice Department with such a vengeance.  Not too mention their panicked attack against any type of voter ID laws, state or federal.

Voter fraud is an integral part of the foundation of the Democrat Party.  Its what gets them elected and keeps them in office.

In Washington state A.C.O.R.N. was responsible for stealing the governor’s election last time around. I watched in horror as they got away with it. Everyone was in the tank, the sec. of state, judges you name it. Dino Rossi won the race but Gregoire demanded a recount and they kept counting [three times] until she won. Dead people’s signatures MATCHED.
Think about that.
It will be TOO LATE if we all wait until the votes are being counted. we all need to demand that the feds do their jobs NOW.
RICO should be used in this case....A.C.O.R.N. is the perfect group to be charged under the RICO law…
I suggest that anyone that is concerned about this rampant fraud should contact their state attorney general and demand that he/she call for a federal investigation.

In Missouri, Jackson County’s top election official, Charlene Davis, says they’ve discovered more than 800 potentially fraudulent forms from the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN.

“I don’t even know the entire scope of it because registrations are coming in so heavy,” Davis said. “We have identified about 100 duplicates, and probably 280 addresses that don’t exist, people who have driver’s license numbers that won’t verify or Social Security numbers that won’t verify. Some have no address at all.”

Intent of the 1st Amendment - it IS the media’s job.

“As Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart explained in a 1974 speech, the “primary purpose” of the First Amendment was “to create a fourth institution outside the government as an additional check on the three official branches” (the executive branch, the legislature and the judiciary).

Justice Stewart cited several landmark cases in which the Supreme Court—the final arbiter of the meaning of the First Amendment—has upheld the right of the press to perform its function as a check on official power. “ --Wikipedia

We have an extreme failure in the media to effectively protect people through objective reporting - the media has become a strongly biased forum to [mis]inform the people.

How can you know anything based on an estimate of population? It’s not like the census. Population estimates are often inaccurate and based on nothing more than projections, not actual counts.

As for the number of registered voters, did you ever consider that there are plenty of people registered to vote in the city who don’t live there? By far the largest group will be anyone serving in the Armed Forces. Why would you want to disenfranchise members of the military?

FINALLY, we can talk about the REAL ACORN!  Get this.  It turns out that criminal investigations were launched in 2004 and 2005 in Wisconsin, Colorado, Florida, and Ohio, with ACORN often a target. But by the end of 2005, the investigations ended after finding either no evidence of wrongdoing by ACORN or any pervasive voter fraud. Nationally, only six former ACORN employees were charged with registration fraud or other election-related crimes in the 2004 election, offenses involving fewer than 20 forms. That’s out of 1 million new voters registered by ACORN during that cycle.

So there, ACORN is for voter fraud!!! If those 20 votes spread out over 4 states were counted, we might have lost 2000 election and 2004 for that matter.

SELL THE COW NOT THE FARM
MY TAKE ON ELECTION ‘08

What a candidate says he may or may not do is of no relevance, whether he does it or not.  What the man is is what you get.  Example:  a stranger offers candy to your children from his car.  Should they take it?  The candy is good, the man is (assumption for this case scenario) bad.  Accepting the candy results in what?  How critical is it if we as a nation are stolen away in this election?  We impeached one President and he didn’t leave.  What if the powers behind the man are too great to defeat?  Or, I should say, what if our faith is not pure enough to confront them?  Or, what if we have compromised too much already?  I’ve not quite figured this out yet:  What is it when you blend right and wrong, righng or wroght?  Probably the latter, pronounced ROT.  Yeah, probably, wroght, from eating too much candy.  When will we stop taking candy from strangers?  For that matter, how do we expect our children to listen?  Oh yeah, I forgot, it’s not politically correct to make them do that anymore.

In any case, just what has the stranger in store for us, once he’s got us in his hand?  I read a very good book called Peace Is Where The Tempests Blow.  Such a parallel it may scare you to death!  Written by Valentine Kataev in 1937.  Go, see the transformation of Russia from freedom to tyranny.  See needs created and supplied by the stranger.  See the candy taken and the child stolen.  See the fall of a nation.  Compare.  By what token ought we accept candy, not knowing what’s behind the stranger?  Just a little i.e. on this thought:  where is the undisclosed money for the campaign coming from (who will he OWE his election to?) and what has been revealed other than the word ‘change?’ Beggars ask for change.  Maybe he has some pennies for us.  Like when we were offered “no new taxes,” since it was verbal, I heard it translated as meaning “gnu taxes” and our gnus were not taxed, so it was true.

“What a tangled web” is woven.  To say “we weave” in completing the quote is to say we are the spiders.  In this case we may well be the prey.  And, oh, what a tangled mess it is!  A complex network of sticky, impenetrable issues spanning not only our nation, but the globe.  Perhaps the net is out to trap America into the existence of a state in a global union.  For the record, I’m for global coexistence, peace and harmony, our participation in that being a leading example of a FREE AND INDEPENDENT NATION, the only obligation owing to our own people, flag and freedom!  I’m not sure who’s twisting the arm of the United States, but it needs to stop NOW.  We are being lead into an economic depression by the same that would ‘rescue’ us if we allow it.  Better to be broke!  Better to be broke and banded together than standing individually in line for rations.  How is it we draw such a taught line between sports and politics?  I love sports, but the energy there is being more and more directed to the commercialization and the individual careers than the team concept.  And we follow.  How did me and my neighbor become me versus my neighbor?  Don’t lie.  Control the individuality and get back on the team!

How did I get way out here?  Back to that stranger.  What’s his name?  Ah, it doesn’t matter.  All I know is I see a piece of candy and a large empty bag.  Then I spy ulterior activity the mainstream ignores.  Not only ignored, but in the case of the LA Times, apparently GIVEN PRIORITY BY DELETING AND PREEMPTING THE TRUTH WITH RHETORIC LIES!  And then, they want to establish “Truth Squads” in Missouri?  ( http://www.kmov.com/video/index.html?nvid=285793&shu=1 ) Why will organizations like these, and not limited to these only, put integrity at risk unless they answer to someone more powerful than the American citizenry, or think we are all bark and no bite?

What is it America?  WHERE HAS THE POWER GONE?  Is it BY us, OF us and FOR us that we will be caught in the web?  Are we so ignorant, or has our complacency traveled to the point of complete idiocy?  God forbid we actually think candy has become nutritious and that every stranger’s motive is toward our well-being.  It’s as though we are in a trance, hypnotized by some subliminally broadcast chant:  “Take the candy.  Take the candy.  Take the candy….” How long need I go on?!  The words are flowing to my fingertips faster than I can type.  Yet, the use (as in what’s the ___) is waning twice as fast.  Who, in God’s name, is interested in the truth anymore?  It’s like all that’s out there is, “Shut up, get outta my way and let me grab the candy!” I feel like I’m wasting my time.

Please, just do the right thing.  Close your ears to the hypnotic chant.  Cast your vote for freedom and be free.  Together we can deal with the rest.  May God Bless America.  Lastly, include the “May” so it is a request and not an order.

Acorn is in Indiana as well…

http://www.indystar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20081010/NEWS0502/810100471

The allegation that appears to have the most substance involves problems with about 4,700 new voter applications turned in to Lake County officials by the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN, which bills itself as “the nation’s largest community organization of low- and moderate-income families, working together for social justice and stronger communities.”

Sally LaSota, director of the Lake County Board of Elections and Voter Registration, said all of the applications submitted by ACORN are being scrutinized after officials found many with the names of deceased residents or suspicious names such as Jimmy Johns, the name of a sub sandwich franchise. LaSota said she assigned Republican Ruthann Hoagland, the board’s assistant registration administrator, to track the ACORN applications.

“One of the glaring problems,” Hoagland said, “was that several were done with the same handwriting and signatures, sometimes in a very distinctive style.”

In a group of 50 applications she reviewed earlier this week, the listed phone numbers on 48 were nonexistent or out of service, and the other two were for businesses “that had no idea what we were talking about when we called to check on their registration,” she said.

Indiana voter registrations ARE supposed to be purged.  Marion County did not follow this practice.  Same article as above.

Tusing said the allegation that there are more voters registered in Marion County than there are voting-age residents is far less troubling. He said that is more likely the result of county election officials failing to purge about 90,000 inactive voters in 2006 as part of a consent decree set out by the U.S. Department of Justice.

Under state and federal rules, inactive voters—those who failed to respond to two mailings and have not cast ballots in the past two federal elections—should be purged from county voter lists.

“Almost all counties have removed their inactive voters, but Marion County elected not to remove 88,210 who have been inactive since at least 2004,” Tusing said. “We notified them that they weren’t in compliance with Indiana and federal law, but they did not heed our notice.”

He said that as many as 30,000 voters on the Marion County list could be deceased, and many others might have moved from the county.

However, the point is moot now, Tusing said, because voter lists cannot be purged within 90 days of the election.

“I am not going to say this anomaly is exclusive of any inappropriate behavior,” he said, “but we would hope that those on the ground in Marion County are working hard to prevent any inappropriate behavior.”

Here’s some more for you so the estimate is 232,607 below 18 - yet they only report 171,295 enrolled in school.  Only 73% of their kids go to school? ENROLLMENT FRAUD it must be!

Good God David!  How early do you expect those kids to start attending school? Assuming an even age spread only 167,934 of the kids would be above the age of 4.

Hmmm… I bet you have trouble calculating the fair tax also.

We need to take the example of Obama, and purge the voter rolls.

“Change we can believe in”, right guys? Obama showed us the way. “Yes we can” purge bad voter rolls, just as Obama did.

Now what is the left going to say to that? “Suppressing the vote”, “disenfranchisement of the poor”, or some other such bullshit? Why didn’t they say that to Obama?

Challenge the signatures, just as Obama did in his ‘96 Illinois State Senate run.

The voting issue has been around since 2000.  Not Obama’s fault, sorry, keep looking.
