More On How The Democrats Are Draining The Republican Swamp Of Corruption

First Jack Murtha, then Alcee Hastings, now this:

Dec. 5 (Bloomberg)—Representative Alan Mollohan, a West Virginia Democrat whose finances are being investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, is in line to take over the House panel that sets the bureau’s budget.

Mollohan, 63, is the ranking Democrat on the appropriations subcommittee overseeing the Department of Justice, which includes the FBI. His party has a long-standing practice of awarding appropriations subcommittee chairmanships to senior members, and no other Democrat has announced plans to seek the post when the party assumes control of Congress next month.

Just so we’re clear, this guy is under investigation by the FBI and Nancy Pelosi wants to put him in charge of the FBI’s budget.

And why not?  What could possibly go wrong?

The culture of corruption.

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.

I dunno.  But I do know I can find politicians who have yet to be proved corrupt...and that’s about the best you can expect.

FYI, I also don’t know if I can find a dog that won’t bite me.  But I have owned several (and still own two) who have yet to do so.

Regards…

I do believe it was Bill Clinton, during his first inagrual, who promised us the “most etical administration in history”. This might not be the exact quote, but it is close

Clinton was classic, he and his stupid wife used to go on televison and talk about how it was a right wing conspiracy against him and that he was being dragged through the mudd. Its kind of funny how we don’t hear Bush saying the same thing. Too bad he would have a good case for it…

* Dodges questions from other posters * Refuses to give sources
* When one of its arguments is shown to be false, either ignores the proof or moves the goalposts.  Heh. (From the LGF faq)
