More Obama Campaign Deception: Joe Biden Knew Bob Casey When He Was -2 Years Old

Joe Biden - who despite representing Delaware in the Senate likes to make a big deal about being born in Scranton Pennsylvania because, let’s face it, the latter is more important on the election map - introduced Obama in Beaver Pennsylvania in what has to be one of the most awkwardly-worded introductions of all time.

Bob Casey was twelve years older than me, and Bobby Casey was twelve years younger than me. And I knew somebody famous was going to come out of Scranton, and I sure a’ hell knew it wadn’t gonna be me.

Uh, yeah.

Anyway, what’s interesting is that the Bob Casey Biden is referring to (junior Senator from Pennsylvania) is twelve years younger than Biden and Biden left Scranton when he was 10.  So how did Biden know about Casey when he was in Scranton?  Did Biden know Casey when he was -2?

It’s not a huge issue, but more and more it’s becoming clear that the Obama campaign has a problem with authenticity.  Obama has to hide his relationship with his pastor Rev. Jeremiah “God Damn America” Wright.  He has to hide his relationship with his political mentor William “I Wish I’d Set More Bombs” Ayers at whose house Obama launched his first legislative campaign.  He has to hide his radical stance on gun issues.  He has to hide his radical stance on abortion.  And he has to hide is overt, far-left liberalism in general by manufacturing a bunch of faux-Republican supporters to write press releases about.

Now Biden’s out on the campaign trail dishing out fibs about his childhood.

It’s cynical, but I think we expect all politicians to lie to us a little bit.  Or at least spin.  But the entire Obama campaign seems bent on creating an entirely different version of their candidate for public consumption than the one that actually exists.

That says it all, don’t you think?  How shameful.

If you had all 535 members of Congress form a line with their backs to you, drop their pants or lift their skirts, then bend over and spread their cheeks—you couldn’t tell one asshole from another.

I listened to the Biden speech last week at the convention: I always find it interesting how these “great” politicians will tell us about their father, mother, or G’father or G’mother, or great uncle—-there is always someone in their past that gave them these great words of wisdom that has guided them to this day.  My dear old mother, now 93, always told me, ” now Joe, you always tell the truth and someday you will be president.”  Well maybe Vice-president.  What rot!

This post makes absolutely no sense.  At no point in time did Biden say he “knew” the Casey’s.

Biden claimed he knew somebody famous would come out of that city and it wasn’t going to be him.  That is all the video showed.

How you arrived at the conclusion Biden said he knew the Casey’s when he was two, i will never know.  Wait, yes I do, because you are totally deceptive liar or an idiot.

Instead of finding things to attack each other over, why don’t we find areas where we can agree, and find compromise long enough to take a step back and enjoy the recognition of our similarities?

Then, we can take steps forward in a constructive way, together, to tackle the issues where we really do disagree.

Thank you “Hannitized”, for setting the record straight. I grew up between the Casey and Biden homesteads in the Green Ridge section of Scranton, PA and “Rob” was 100% incorrect . I can tell you this much, Joe Biden and Bob Casey Jr. are among the best public servants anyone could ask for. Joe’s been elected to 6 consecutive 6-year Senate terms and in his first Senate race, Bob Casey, Jr. won more votes than any politician EVER in a statewide election in the history of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. That says it all.

Probably Biden’s comment is idiotic enough as described above, but it just for the record, it’s even dumber.

First, from the time Biden was six years old until four years after he’d moved to Delaware, the elder Bob Casey was away at college and law school - at Holy Cross and George Washington respectively. And “Bobby” is actually 18 years younger than Biden, born when Biden himself was long-removed from Scranton. I hardly need add that the late Governor Casey was ten, not twelve years older than Biden.

Maybe Neil Kinnock’s famous neighbors fit Biden’s description of the Caseys?
