More Evidence To Suggest That Obama Met Blagojevich About Appointment
Did Obama meet with Blagojevich? As of this morning Obama is still answering that question with an unequivocal “no.” And he got some support in that denial when an Illinois television station deleted from the internet two news stories that mentioned a meeting between the two about the appointment of Obama’s successor in the Senate.
Unfortunately, that news station (KHQA) still hasn’t explained why one of its stories referenced the meeting between Obama and Blago as though it had already happened, and now we see reporting in the Chicago Tribune that also references “discussions” between Obama and Blago about the appointment.
So what gives? Did Obama meet with Blago or not?
Seems to me that someone in the Obama camp, preferably Obama himself, needs to address this.
