Moore Gets Nod From Terrorists

Hezbollah is a political group (in the looser, more militant sense of the word) which formed during Israel's occupation of southern Lebanon. They are a terrorist group guilty of killing hundreds of U.S. serviceman (as well as the soldiers of our allies) in cowardly suicide attacks.

To put it plainly, they are America's enemy.

Yet when Hezbollah asked the distributors of Farenheit 9/11 what they could do to help make the film more popular they were embraced by Michael Moore and company (via Blogs for Bush).

Salon - Most recently the MAF is promoting a report reprinted in the Guardian that the Lebanon-based militant group Hezbollah has endorsed "Fahrenheit." Gianluca Chacra, the managing director of Front Row Entertainment, the movie's distributor in the United Arab Emirates, confirms that Lebanese student members of Hezbollah "have asked us if there's any way they could support the film." While Hezbollah is considered a legitimate political party in many parts of the world, the U.S. State Department classifies the group as a terrorist organization. Chacra was unfazed, even excited, about their offer. "Having the support of such an entity in Lebanon is quite significant for that market and not at all controversial. I think it's quite natural."

I guess there's two ways to look at this. Either Michael Moore and his cronies are willing to forge an alliance with anybody who will help them sell this film or they're traitors willing to consort with the enemy in order to bring our President down.

Take your pick.
