Molotov Cocktail Thrown at McCain Sign- Could be “Change”!

KATU has the story of two liberals not bright enough to hack a website or email account, so they went “old school” on a McCain supporter:

PORTLAND, Ore. – Authorities have arrested two men after a Molotov cocktail was thrown at a 4-foot by 8-foot campaign sign for Republican presidential candidate John McCain in a southeast Portland yard. Karen Scrutton said she was asleep inside her home at 7956 S.E. 17th Ave. in the Sellwood neighborhood when she saw her sign go up in flames after 1 a.m.
“I screamed upstairs to my husband, ‘Gene! Gene!” she said. A neighbor heard a crash and chased off one of the suspects. Gene Scrutton said his son-in-law found another suspect not far away.

So, aside from the possibility of burning these people alive should their house catch fire…boys will be boys?

Not long after, investigators picked up Leslie Brockette Leudtke and Kevin Carl Robinson, both 23. After interviewing them, the pair was charged with four counts each of manufacturing and possession of a destructive device. In addition, Leudtke was charged with a single count of reckless burning.

“Destructive device” as in “firebomb”. These lads should get a nice chunk of time to consider the folly of their ways…unless some liberal judge gives them a slap on the wrist!

Last night here in northeast Wisconsin several neighborhoods have had their McCain Palin signs vandalized – the sign in my front yard had gourds and watermelons thrown at it until it broke off the frame. That's just dumb. Guess they didn't like it that we are finally fed up and spoke up! We patched the sign back together and now it reminds us of McCain's rugged flag introduction. Next time I'm going to put a screaming alarm on it so if anyone touches it an alarm will sound.

Sheila, yes, but all the MSM finds is an occasional vandal of an Obama sign. This reminds me of the selective enforcements of the 1950s targeting negroes. I was against that practice then and now.

The propaganda is that Republicans are racists, not intelligent, rednecks, etc.

I go by behavior. This is just one example. Michelle Malkin has documented numerous cases, many involving felonies. The most recent was the son? of a Democrat who hacked into Sara Palin's email. Where was the ACLU. Violation of privacy?

Not if Obama gets elected. That kind of behavior could land them cabinet posts if they're not careful.

4th of July, a week or two after I graduated high school I was celebrating with my own home made fireworks… dry ice + 2 liter coke bottle + water. I was arrested and charged with a similar crime "manufacture and possession of explosive device". end of the day I was convicted with the felony and was sentenced to 4 months. I think what I did was mostly harmless while what these guys did was not. but interesting the charge is the same. will be interesting to see what their sentence is.

An AP story on this has the following headline.

So you see, a firebombing is not a firebombing when it's a McCain sign. I have no doubt that it would be a "hate crime" if the same thing happened to an Obama sign.
