Miers Hasn’t Turned In Her Homework

This just in from the Senate Judiciary Committee: “As of 8:00 p.m. EST, the Senate Judiciary Committee still has not received a response clarifying the questionnaire for the nomination of Harriet Miers to be Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. Although the Committee still hopes to receive it today, we do not expect delivery in the immediate future. Copies will NOT be made publicly available until tomorrow morning. We will notify you via email when it is available. “

This is either another bad move by the Bush administration or a prelude to a withdrawal.
