Michelle Obama Touches The Queen, Apparently Sets Off International Incident
I’m not sure why anyone would care about this.
Chuckling about Obama giving the queen an iPod, or giving the British Prime Minister some DVD’s, is one thing but who cares whether or not Michelle touched the Queen?
Yeah, the Queen is royalty and all that. No, it’s not protocol. So what? We’re American. And I’m pretty sure we kicked the Brits’ butts back across the Atlantic over the idea of monarchism.
I enjoy laughing at the Obamas and their escapades as much as the next guy, but this is pretty stupid.
Of course, if Sarah Palin had done it we’d hear nothing but mocking from self-righteous liberals looking down their noses at the illiterate rube from out in the sticks who doesn’t know how to behave around her betters.
