Michael Savage Steals Our Headlines

Here’s a headline about Hugo Chavez appearing on MichaelSavage.com:

It’s the same headline written by Say Anythings own Pilgrim on a post written yesterday:

It’s the same headline, right down to hyphen and comma.

It would be cool if they’d used our headline to link to us, but to use our headline linking to another article?  Pretty lame.

That would be one hell of a coincidence.

Did Pilgrim rip off Savage’s headline?

Nope, Pilgrim’s actually the one who told me about it.  I doubt he’d be raising questions about it if he’d done the swiping.

Plus, I’m pretty sure Pil’s post appeared before Savage’s link.

I agree with Rob, this is seriously a lame move, give Pilgrim his credit!

W Zip on November 22, 2007 at 07:36 pm

I wouldn’t mind it, except as already stated Savage bitches about everyone else stealing his stuff.

He’s not on the radio around here anymore which is just as well.  I didn’t like the way he discussed the issues, not that I generally disagreed with him.

A lot of conservatives say that about Savage.

I take issue with his methods of arguments and presentation as well. Those things are important.

The guy is dead right on key topics of importance though. I’ll give him that credit.

I have noticed that Savage isn’t one that is usually pointed to by the lefties. I wonder why that is. Maybe they know that Savage is a clown.

I think it’s funny that he pounded Hannity for running with Debbie Schussel’s story…that everyone covered, without giving her credit. But now, he’s caught stealing a headline verbatum.

What a douchebag.

There is a reason not that many people listen to Savage, he attacks everyone that seems to be sitting in the ratings above him.

Sorry, I have tried to listen to this yowling, lying, dissembling piece of crap. He is nothing more than a leftarded failure. He masquerades as some big time conservative, yet, when you strip away all the window dressing, he is Democrat. He spews thinly veiled white supremest crap, is a racist of the nth degree, his answer to anything and everything is Government. As for his so called writing, actually take out the semantic nulls and you are left with zero.

And he routinely plagiarizes and make no attempt to even mask it, and credits no one, ever, period.

Savage folds like a cheap suit, as always. CAIR will roll him in a heart beat. And get a nice payday out of it to boot.

I’m guessing the headline disappeared because they updated their site, not because we complained.

But whatever.  It’s lame, but a relatively small issue.  There’s actually a ton of spam blogs out there that are re-syndicating every single post on this blog.  I’ve been busy reporting them all to Google (they’re mostly on Blogger).

I broke down yesterday and got a googleblogger account on my new email. We will see how long it actually works, this time. So many blogs I go to are blogger and I can not get comment thread notifs without it, and it really blows. So glad I went to Firefox. even though it is tied to google, anyway, it at least works when I want it to.
