Michael Moore Uses 9/11 Victims To Shill For Communism, Castro

Disgusting…

April 15, 2007 — Filmmaker Michael Moore’s production company took ailing Ground Zero responders to Cuba in a stunt aimed at showing that the U.S. health-care system is inferior to Fidel Castro’s socialized medicine, according to several sources with knowledge of the trip.
The trip was to be filmed as part of the controversial director’s latest documentary, “Sicko,” an attack on American drug companies and HMOs that Moore hopes to debut at the Cannes Film Festival next month.
Two years in the making, the flick also takes aim at the medical care being provided to people who worked on the toxic World Trade Center debris pile, according to several 9/11 workers approached by Moore’s producers.
But the sick sojourn, which some say uses ill 9/11 workers as pawns, has angered many in the responder community.
“He’s using people that are in a bad situation and that’s wrong, that’s morally wrong,” railed Jeff Endean, a former SWAT commander from Morris County, N.J., who spent a month at Ground Zero and suffers from respiratory problems.

It’s always amazing how hypocritical these liberals are when it comes to things like socialism and nationalized health care. You’ll hear some blinkered twit champion the socialist regime of Hugo Chavez, but they usually not in a rush to move down to Venezuela (where toilet seats are a luxury!) and put that thug’s boot on their necks. They’ll also champion socialized nationalized health care, but you won’t see someone like Michael Moore petitioning the Cuban government (or even the Canadian government) for access to their hospitals when his cholesterol-addled heart inevitably starts to act up.
It’s all a big joke. They’ll riot in the streets in favor of forcing us all into a government-backed health care system, but one wonders how many of them will be happy when they’re waiting three years to get knee surgery. They’ll tell us all how great and wonderful someone like Hugo Chavez is, but one wonders how they’d feel if one of Chavez’s thugs gave them a beating for expressing the wrong sort of free speech.

Michael Moore is sick! He needs to get some of that wonderful Castro Cuban healthcare himself… He is sick.

    the technology is top notch.

Yeah! When you step on the cockroaches in the OR, they wind up just as dead as if you’d used a pesticide!

Does any liberal out there know how American health care got to be the best quality in the world without socialized medicine?

Canada only has about 36 million people, but everyone has access to healthcare.

    After you wait in line.

You’ll get treatment quicker and better in America.

And what is with the “free healthcare” claim? Nothing in life is free.

Wow, you completely redirected the point of what he did. Not that it wasn’t still obnoxious, but he was taking them to Guantanimo Bay where alleged terrorists are receiving top notch health care. This wasn’t to compare health systems but to show the hypocrisy of giving terrorists health care and telling ground zero volunteers to just well.. die.

Is Castro still alive? OR will we ever know that for sure? I was thinking if Michael Moore could get in to see Castro, that would be a great boost for making money for his movie??? Castro has not been seen in public since July…

And the English spambot hits #2.

Well, I saw on internet many discussion where Michael Moore was considered a “traitor” and an infatuate. Anyway, all these political topics, just make me feel more and more like we are living in a sick world, where we are led only by greedy, fakers and politicians.but still… have to say that… using 9/11 victim…is simply… outrageous, no matter the reason.

“A friend of mine went to Cuba last Xmas break and got sick. She had to go to the hospital in Cuba, and guess what? Just like Canada, free healthcare, the technology is top notch.”

What a blatant and obvious lie. You do understand that directly transcribing the talking points into comment threads is stupid as hell. Right?

George: Hate to break it to you, but nonuniformed combatants caught on a battlefield are usually shot right then and there. The terrorists being held at Gitmo are getting much better treatment than they deserve, which has nothing to do with the treatment the WTC victims are getting.

HG – LOL. American healthcare is only the best on the world for those who can afford it. 47 million Americans are uninsured. Canada only has about 36 million people, but everyone has access to healthcare.

A friend of mine went to Cuba last Xmas break and got sick. She had to go to the hospital in Cuba, and guess what? Just like Canada, free healthcare, the technology is top notch. USA has the most expensive healthcare system in the world yet the least beneficial for Americans. Americans can’t get sick or they’d go bankrupt paying their medical bills.

England has free healthcare, too. They’d even give you money to pay for a cab! Most of Europe have socialized medicine, and the people’s quality of life is high. It’s time people stop associating communism and socialism. They’re not the same.
