Michael Moore To Film At The Polls
Ugh...
This is going to be one ugly election day.
As Michelle Malkin puts it:
Seriously though, isn't the presence of Moore's camera films a blatant attempt at intimidation in and of itself? Are poll workers going to be as willing to challenge questionably cast ballots cast by questionably registered people when Michael Moore has a camera pointed in their faces? People saw how he twisted the truth in Fahrenheit 9/11, who wants to be the next star of one of Moore's mockumentaries?
The only people who should be at these polling places anyway should be poll workers, voters and perhaps one representative for candidate on the ballot to monitor. More than that just ads to the confusion and makes it more difficult for people to vote.
COLUMBUS, Ohio - Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore plans to have hundreds of cameras outside polling places in Ohio and Florida on Election Day to watch for attempts to suppress voter turnout.
The director of the anti-Bush documentary "Fahrenheit 9/11" announced Saturday that a total of 1,200 professional and nonprofessional cameramen, filmmakers and videographers will bring their cameras to polling places in the two presidential battleground states, especially in minority communities.
"I'm putting those who intend to suppress the vote on notice: Voter intimidation and suppression will not be tolerated," Moore said in a statement.
This is going to be one ugly election day.
As Michelle Malkin puts it:
Bush-haters + Moore-haters + European nosybodies + Democrat paranoiacs + Republican crusaders + FBI agents + 24/7 media coverage + computer glitches + ballot confusion + fear of possible election-day terrorist attacks
If this isn't a recipe for trouble, I don't know what is.
