Moore lost me when he wrote Americans need to die in Iraq so the country could ‘learn a lesson’. I gave Berg’s father a pass on his ridiculous comments, considering the psychological baggage of his son’s horrific murder. I sincerely hope he doesn’t politicize it anymore. As to issuing a subpoena for the footage? I don’t see where it can serve any purpose other than to rub salt into the wound.

I say subpoena it and let America see what Nick Berg was really like.

I guess my thought, considering who is in possession of the video,is to allow America to see it before Moore turns it into more propaganda.

I’d be on board with that scenario. But it doesn’t look like it’s playing out that way...so far.

You understand if the footage were subpoenaed, it’d be nothing but free publicity for Moore.

And aren’t you speculating that Berg said things during the interview which are pro-Iraq war, hence his not making the final cut of the film? I ‘spose Moore could use that for propoganda, but it wouldn’t be easy.

Thank you for the kind words.  I put a lot of work into this place, but its a labor of love.  Its always nice to hear that somebody else enjoys it besides me.

I am speculating just a bit.  I have no idea what’s on that tape but I can’t imagine Nick Berg being against the war.  He went over there to work as a contractor and make a difference.  Plus, his friends also he was for the war.

I just don’t want to see Moore get anything good out of this.
