Memo To Reuters: Charlie Rangel Is A Democrat

Every time this happens I think, “It’s an honest mistake.” But then it happens again and again and again. And not just in photo captions, but in articles about Democrat scandals that don’t mention that the subject of the story is a Democrat while stories about Republican scandals manage to get the party identification right in the headline.
Amazing how that works, no? And how it always seems to work in one certain direction.

    do you have any references where corrections and apology were forth coming for the left. most of the time party is not listed when it is a dirty democrat ………

    there are enough dirty politicians of both sides ……… I do find it hard to believe that anyone would get old dirty charlie’s party wrong by accident ……. I bet Charlie being called a R made him more angry than any of us ………

    That’s a lie. At some point in every report on these people the party was mentioned. In fact it was said that the GOP needs to get rid of these kind, which we do.

    You keep yours, and even re-elect them for many terms afterwards. Shall I list them?

    Oh, and according to Rueters that is not an indication of position in photo, it is Party affiliation. They are very adamant on that point. Just ask them.

    Not this crap again.

    A news photo popped up a couple years back of a Democrat with the letter (R) next to his name. People started screaming about it thinking the news service had labeled him a Republican, without looking at the other pictures on that site that had other prominent Democrats similarly “identified” as Communists and Libertarians.

    HINT: (R), (C), and (L) = right, center, left

    If you look at the series of pictures it is clear R stands for Right. In the previous picture where there are three people it is listed as (2md R). in the next picture in this series where he is by himself it says (D-NY).
