America’s “spy chief” Mike McConnell made an appearance in front of the Senate Armed Services committee today to talk about Iraq.  The nature of what he said, however, is anybody’s guess given the wildly divergent nature of the media’s reporting on his comments.

Well, which is it?  Are the Iraqi troops slowly improving or are we heading in the wrong direction in Iraq?  It doesn’t seem to me like both can be true.
