Media Matters Accuses This Blog Of Being Part Of The “Right Wing Noise Machine”
The folks at Media Matters today accuse me of being part of the “right wing noise machine” for posting about the poor viewer numbers for Obama’s ABC health care infomercial.
That I’m apparently part of some right-wing cabal is news to me, but their claim that the criticism of Obama’s ratings being invalid because those doing the criticism don’t know enough about the television industry.
Because “lowest rated show on broadcast television” is apparently a technical term requiring years of broadcast television experience to understand.
…was it a flop? According to TV Newser… the health care special produced ABC’s best Wednesday 10 p.m. ratings in nearly two months.
Giving the lowest-rated broadcast channel its best ratings in two months is a bit like being the smartest kid in the special ed room.
