Media Alert: I’ll Be Hosting The Post-Thanksgiving Edition Of The Scott Hennen Show

Thank you Rob. Nothing against Hennen (though I guess it’s something against Hennen), but it’s nice once in a while to have a host on Hennen’s show who isn’t constantly talking over people, bobble-heading the Bush Admin, and sounding like a spokesman for a used car lot. I swear, if Scott doesn’t give up the breathy, cheap broadcast school delivery, I’ll start listening to SCHULTZ!!
I’ll start listening to SCHULTZ!!
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK! I could never listen to that pompous ass.
Met him a few times. Even more pompous in person.
Hard to believe.
Interesting how he is still fairly right wing in person, saw a need and filled it to line his pockets.
Sold his soul for a money roll, as it were.
That’s why he doesn’t talk politics outside of the radio show. Doesn’t want anyone to know he is really a right winger. He would probably get mobbed by a group of Dino’s.
Gman ( o)==:::
No Shoulder Shrugs. A lie left unchallenged soon becomes the truth.
One Big Ass Mistake, America
I actually think Scott’s got a great radio voice. Ideologically he’s more moderate than I am, but hey it takes all sorts right?

You know Rob, there will be times when Scott is on his game and the debate intense, he will lose that creepy tone and sound great, so I know he’s capable of a great radio voice. Heck, I listened to Hot Talk for years…
If you listen to announcers on commercials, you will invariably hear a practice where the speaker emphasizes the air (breath) through his words. This is a trained “skill”, as it supposedly has a positive effect on an audience. I spent some time in a voiceover studio a few years ago and picked up on some of the tricks…
Unfortunately some people over-do it and it comes off disingenuous and smarmy, and Scott, in my opinion, overdoes it…To distraction…
Ed is the exact opposite, screechy, fingernails-on-the-blackboard tone, but he and Scott share one insanely irritating talent; They can’t for the life of them allow anyone to finish a sentence (or begin one, in many cases)...
I guess I’ve never noticed Scott to be someone who interrupts people a lot.
Maybe it’s just something that comes with being in radio for a while. Having worked on the other side of the microphone a few times now I know there’s a lot going on, and they’re always watching the clock…
Anyway, glad you like me on the radio anyway. I hope to keep doign more.
