For those of you in the Grand Forks, ND or surrounding area I’ll be appearing on AM 1310 (KNOX) with ND Representative Tom Brusegaard at 4:05pm central time today.
Unfortunately there’s no Internet feed for those of you out of the area.
The topic will be politics and blogging. I’ll be on for about a half an hour answering questions and taking calls. This is the first time on radio for me as anything other than a caller, so excuse me if I’m a bit nervous. Fortunately its Tom’s first time as well, so maybe I’ll blend in.
Update:
I just got off the air. I thought it went pretty well. I don’t think I sounded too nervous.
For those of you who missed it, we mostly talked about blogging. Hopefully some of the people who caught the interview and weren’t all that familiar with blogs before will take the time to become acquainted with them now.
We did talk a bit about politics. Tom asked me what I thought of the Meir nomination, which I was sort of hoping he wouldn’t do. I’ve been so busy today at the office that I haven’t had a chance to look up anything much about her, but I did stress that her ideology doesn’t matter as much to me as her ability to make rulings based on the constitution means, not what she can shape it in to meaning to match her ideology.

No problem Whistler. I wish I could have gotten your URL out as well, but I didn't want to just blurt it out. I had a few other ND blogs I wanted to get out as well (I had a list of them in front of me) but we ran out of time. So I just put them up in the post.

Who knows, maybe Tom will have me on again some time. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I was going to.

The questioning mainly seemed to deal with "what is a blog" and "how did you get started" and "How does it work".

Rob talked a little bit about our new Supreme Court nomineen but like everybody else in the world he doesn't have much information to go on.

Tom, I think you added to the show. I certainly would be more likely to listen to you than the normal afternoon fare. Perhaps there's an audience for what normally is there, but it's not me.
