I too think this is a gift to McCain. While many things can be said of the Biden pick, I do not believe anyone can keep his massive ego and big mouth in check and he will provide more excuses for people deserting Obama. Just think of how he once said about Obama that we shouldn’t give anyone the White House for a training ground or that Obama was the first clean, articulate black man running for President. This guy is a time bomb with a short fuse.

I hope you are right, Bill Mitchell. But in the years I have known Joe Biden, I can tell you he is smart, tough, persuasive and charming.
He will be the perfect pitbull and will keep many of Hillary’s supporters and union voters in the fold.

The only way Obama will stand a snowball’s chance in hell now will be if McCain dfoes something really, really stupid with his VP pick. Like pick an old time establishment choice that the left can use as a dart board – or a pro-choice advocate.
If he’s smart, he’ll pick a woman to draw some of the Hillary vote (who are even as we speak really, really pissed about this whole thing) and the undecideds away.
Like I said earlier, maybe nobody wanted the job and Obama was left with – leftovers.
Either that or he just showed how much of an amateur he really is. Either way, he’s toast.

Lol, it really is almost funny. Obama could have won this thing in a walk by picking Hillary, but his ego prevented it. Then his insecurity (the real core of ego) makes the “change” candidate pick the most “establishment” Senator in the whole Senate.
Add this to the snub of Hillary in the vetting process and this is a GIFT for McCain.
Honestly, I am relieved. The Obama/Hillary ticket idea was making me seriously nervous about 16 years of liberal rule.

I forgot, McCain BETTER pick a V.P. that can debate Biden on the issues, in great detail, because big mouth Biden thinks he knows everything and expresses his beliefs as if they are from an infallible, divine being.
