McCain Gets Booed For Saying That Obama Respects The Constitution
And, frankly, McCain should also get booed if he ever states that he respects the Constitution.
McCain says that Obama is the President and that we should be respectful. I would remind Senator McCain that Obama has to earn our respect. And so far he hasn’t. He promised bi-partisanship. He promised to be a President to all Americans. And yet his administration has accused the tea party/town hall protesters of dressing up like Hitler, among other things. He promised a fiscally responsible administration, and yet he’s run up nearly $2 trillion in deficits this year and his administration just raised deficit projections for the next 10 years by another nearly $2 trillion. Obama has sought an expansion of government into the financial industry (among others) that is entirely extra-constitutional.
So no, Obama doesn’t respect the Constitution (neither do most of our elected leaders, but I digress). And yes, he deserves to be booed because of that.
Especially because he’s the President.
