McCain Campaign Manager: Mainstream Reporters Are Demanding Palin Get A Paternity Test

Unbelievable:

COURIC: I mean, aren’t those legitimate criticisms, and don’t they call into question the vetting process, which obviously you were a very important part of? But some people wonder, why are these kind of things coming out in kind of a drip, drip, drip fashion?

SCHMIDT: Well, let’s talk about what’s coming out. The fact that her husband had a DWI 24 years ago when he was 22 years old. Senator McCain thinks that’s nonsense, that’s not a disqualifier for a Vice President of the United States. We knew that her daughter was going to have a child. Senator McCain offered his love and support for their family. That doesn’t disqualify this exceptional leader, and the American people, I think, will angrily reject it. Today, Katie, I’ve been asked questions that are outrageous by the national media. I’ve been asked questions about when her amniotic fluid started to leak with regard to her last birth. I was asked whether we would make the genetic tests available because she had a Down’s Syndrome child. Members of this campaign went to off-the-record lunches with reporters today, and they were asked if she would do paternity tests to prove paternity for her last child. Smear after smear after smear, and it’s disgraceful, and it’s wrong, and the American people are going to reject it overwhelmingly when they see her tomorrow.

Remember, this is the same media that had to have their collective arms twisted to get them to cover Obama’s America-damning pastor.  This is the same media that still refuses to explore the connections between Obama and Weather Underground terrorist William Ayers.

But they’re more than willing to demand that a female Republican VP candidate take a paternity test to prove that her baby is really hers.

Fair?  Objective?  Not even a little bit.

This is the same MSM who ignored and refused to cover the John Edwards affair, until the National Enquirer smeared their faces in it.  I didn’t see anyone in the MSM requesting John Edwards to take a paternity test yet.

seems there is a different scope if you’re a Republican than if you were a Democrat.

Also the American people are going to react to it as well…

One would figure that the pictures of an obviously pregnant and/or nursing Governor Palin would put to rest these kind of absurd claims of the nutroots.  Of course, given that many in the radical left apparently think prenatal infanticide is better than childbearing, maybe many of them don’t know how to recognize the signs that a woman has borne a child.

And requesting a paternity test?  Do these idiots not know that suggesting this is equivalent to suggesting that she was cheating on her husband?  They’re **** lucky that Mr. Palin was not in the room to beat the tar out of them for insulting the virtue of his wife.

(now that’s YouTube I’d watch!)

Just when you think the lefties can’t go any lower…
Their goal is obviously to deprive the American voters the opportunity to vote for her in Nov.

Hey guys.
Schmidt is a liar. He bested McCain in 2000 with a racist whisper campaign.

Did you know McCain has an illegitimate black crack baby?

Do we have any witnesses that aren’t part of the Republican party?

Um, Sparkless, the perpetrator of that campaign has never been conclusively identified, and if he were, do you really think that McCain would HIRE him?

Please.  A good doctor might be able to help you with that rectocranial insertion syndrome, by the way.

Part of the credibility of witnesses, as most sane people know, it the timeliness in which they report the incident.
You want to compare someone who reported something that just happened to him with two witnesses coming forth after how many years??? Go right ahead Sparkie! Knock yourself out!
(But don’t be surprised if your own credibility suffers along with it!)

BTW, how many non-Republicans do you think would be part of the McCain campaign?

You’re funny Spark! I just don’t think you intend to be!

Lieberman?

I was thinking of Lieberman when I wrote that, C.Y., but I didn’t want to rub it in!
Did you see his speech last night? Really great! It’s a shame they no longer let adults into the Democrat party!

Much of this negative attention is to distract from Obama and his inexperience and lack of substance. The MSM is squirming and will stop at nothing to insure their precious Obama is elected. Mud slinging and smears are all apart of the territory. It is too bad that anyone would ever even suggest, let alone think of asking for a paternity test! Pathetic is the word that keeps coming to mind every time another smear tactic comes up.

Zsa Zsa on September 3, 2008 at 10:45 am

Maybe Obama should get a paternity test for his “daughters”.

proof,

By now you of all people should know that sparkless-arse-fuckin-buckle has no credibility (or taste, or honesty) whatsoever.  Just treat anything that emanates from that source as presumptively wrong.

Steve Schmidt raised the question of a paternity test.  That by itself doesn’t make it Gospel. Rush repeated it.  I would hope Schmidt would name names.  Which members of the national media asked for a paternity test?  To   what end?  What was the context.  Inquiring minds want to know who, when   and why the request was made.

The bias in question was loyalty, not time elapsed.

So do we have any non-Republican witnesses? Any other testimony from anyone besides the people who work for McCain/Palin?

No. Okay then.

Which doesn’t negate my point. Part of the credibility of witnesses, as most sane people know, is the timeliness in which they report the incident.

Did you ever find that interim report that would give credence to their testimony? Didn’t think so!
