McCain Booed During Martin Luther King Speech

Today’s the 40th anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King. McCain decided to give a speech about the man. He got booed.
Why? I’m guess it’s because of McCain’s vote against creating Martin Luther King Day.

Watashiwa: What?? Just scan the posts and responses of the last two days and you will find that lots of us respect – and even admire – the legacy of MLK.

Why do liberals always want to put people into groups!!?? Are you alarmed by individuality?
Or does grouping make it easier to harrass some while soothing the victim-status of others?

I didn’t hear any booing. I hear what sounded like a black woman scream “We forgive you” and a what sounded like a black man saying “we all make mistakes”.

I heard noise in the background, none of it really sounded like booing to me.

Exactly when did you hear a boo?

    pparets,

I guess you’ve noticed the liberal tendency to conflate anything they can for political points while carefully distinguishing between the actions of each ethnic group in some warped effort to gain favor with minorities… for political points.

I commend McCain for facing what he knew would be a hostile audience. He admitted he was wrong. And he was right. Martin Luther King Jr lost his life fighting for equality which most of you bloggers take for granted. He suffered police beatings, jail, firehoses and had his home bombed. All we asked for was a federal holiday for a man who was a hero to many, black and white. Yet you mean- spirited Conservatives were loathe to give such an honor to a black man. But you treated Ghandi like he was a saint for fighting for equality in India.
    Conservatives are evil.
