Mark Levin: Media Matters Is A Criminal Enterprise

Levin is a little too over-the-top for me, but he’s got a point about Media Matters, their inaccurate attack on Rush Limbaugh over the “phony soldiers” thing and the group’s tax status.

To be honest with you, I didn’t know Media Matters was non-profit.  Anyone trying to call that group non-partisan is full of it.

Sort of like the non-profit Americans for Prosperity or the Americans for Tax Reform or the Heritage Foundation, all non-partisan, right? Not!

You know sometime someone is going to have to stand up to this sort of blatant mischaracterization.  This kind of defamation is getting out of hand.  Adding context to carefully selected words is dishonest, deceitful, and intended to damage one’s reputation.  That this kind of thing is tolerated in public discourse is absolutely disgusting.  What’s worse is that those who are suppose to be educated and influential in society have no problem stooping to such depths on a regular basis.

That was entertaining.  Levin should keep on swinging. The left should be kept on the defense. Never should they be givin a break to regroup.

I dunno...you’d think that an organization that called itself “Media Matters”, would at least, like a blind pig, stumble over some acorn of concern on the left side of the dial at some point!
Their propensity to be a watchdog of the right and a lapdog of the left surely puts their tax exempt status in jeopardy.

I’ll take “hypocrisy” for $500, Alex!

A troll is someone who only wants to stir up trouble, not have an honest debate.  Some signs that a poster is a troll:
* Dodges questions from other posters * Refuses to give sources
* When one of its arguments is shown to be false, either ignores the proof or moves the goalposts.  Heh. (From the LGF faq)

Hurry up Puzzlefeet - change the subject.

Sometimes you’d do yourself well to just keep quiet. Just sayin’…

likwid: Yeah, the six-year-old “everybody does it” defense.

If you don’t know by now, don’t mess with it.

Wow, you stepped into that puzzlefeet. Americans for Tax Reform is registered as a partisan nonprofit. Media Matters is registered as a nonpartisan nonprofit. Those distinctions make a difference come tax time.
